In 2009 the eleventh Iceland Airwaves music festival was held. Around 200 musicians and bands participated. The artist Egill S performed two times during the festival.

SKARA
The photographic members of SKARA photojournalism collective sometimes work together shooting a story. Even though there were two photographers working on this story, each pictures is the collective work of these photojournalists and is therefore labelled SKARA.
