In May 2009 Icelandic reggae band Hjálmar ventured out to Jamiaca in order to further educate themselves in the art of reggae music. For a period of 10 days they worked with local legends such as Cat Coore in Tuff Gong Studios and Stephen Stewart in Harry J. Studio, to produce their forth album, aptly named IV. The album went to gold within 6 weeks and has been nominated by the Icelandic Music Awards as album of the year.
